ER25FW Purple Moleskin Jacket
A complete subversion of the traditional Detroit jacket, this is a cost-blind, obsessive restoration. The heavy wash of the original blurred its details; we rebuilt this god-tier archive piece from the ground up.
1. Textile & Weaving
Discarding the conventional left-hand twill, we monopolized a Japanese narrow-shuttle loom to custom-weave the original Right-hand Twill. Restricted to a grueling 145cm width, the raw fabric cost soared to 113 RMB/m. Custom-spun from the source for 3,000 meters, using 50+ thread-count high-density satin. Under a microscope, the yarn gauge is indistinguishable from the original.
2. Dyeing & Washing
A highly unstable purple dye. After countless color-jumping failures, we finally imported a custom dye from Okayama, Japan. Top-tier film artisans and illustrators collaboratively reconstructed the graphic boundaries, working with leading factories to conquer the technical abyss of wash fading and print peeling.
